Rooted in Art: Buds, Blooms and Berries 

The Botanical Art Society of Newfoundland and Labrador (BASNL) is pleased to present a Virtual Exhibition titled “Rooted in Art: Buds, Blooms and Berries”. This exhibition represents our 2nd Biennial Show. Our initial planning did not envision a virtual display, however, as a result of Covid-19 we have had to adapt to our new normal during this time period. At a future date in 2021, we plan to have our exhibition displayed at the MUN Botanical Garden.

This year’s exhibition highlights 33 pieces of artwork from 14 artists. The artwork comprises a variety of botanical art in various mediums. We hope you enjoy this visual presentation.

A huge thank you is extended to Murray’s Garden Centre for the tremendous support it has provided since our inception. At each of our biennial shows, Murray’s has provided support to our “People’s Choice Award” by providing a $100.00 gift certificate to the artist whose painting receives the most votes from the viewing public. They have also provided BASNL with opportunities to display artwork at its Grounds Café. When viewing the virtual artwork, we encourage you to vote for your choice.
