In the beginning...
What better way to celebrate the beginning of our newly formed Botanical Art Society than with an exhibition of buds, blooms and berries found right here at home.
We are pleased to virtually showcase the BASNL inaugural exhibition of 2018 when our NL botanical artists were part of the “World Wide Exhibition of Botanical Art”. This international event gathered over 700 artists and 1000 works of art, from 25 countries on 6 continents. Many additional companion exhibitions were held in each country. Our Newfoundland Botanical Society was one of five here in Canada, proudly helping to connect people and plants and to foster awareness of the great plant diversity around the world.
