Approach / Inspiration
I truly find inspiration everywhere in daily life and am always fascinated with the play of light and shadow. It’s a constant challenge to capture that interplay in my work. Whether botanical, urban landscape or snapshots of everyday moments, I simply paint what speaks to me. As a multi-disciplinary artist working in watercolor, oil and acrylic, I immerse myself in the creative process and continue to try new techniques and mediums that pique my interest.
Biography
I cannot remember a time when I did not love drawing and later, painting. For many years, I painted in watercolors, moving on to other mediums. Primarily self taught, I have been fortunate to study under many talented local and international artists. Since retiring, I am content to have more dedicated time for painting and pleased to have my work in many private collections.
