Approach / Inspiration

There is so much beauty surrounding us in this world.  When I paint, whatever my subject, it my desire to capture a little part of something that I consider beautiful and share it with others. Botanical art appeals to me because it is an artistic expression of the innate beauty found in nature.

Biography

I started painting late in life and I am very thankful for the wonderful teachers that I have had that have helped me in this journey. I work mostly with acrylics, but I also enjoy the occasional foray into the world of watercolours. I have learned through a variety of methods including dvds, books, classes and workshops.
