Approach / Inspiration
My preferred medium is acrylics and, most recently, I am experimenting with water soluble oils.
Biography
I grew up in Quidi Vidi Village, surrounded by the beautiful landscape of Canada’s East Coast where I would pick wild flowers which were plentiful throughout the community. Quite often, I could be seen with a pencil, paper, a coloring book and crayons to bide my time. I was thrilled to win a paint set at a sports day event when I was in elementary school. From coloring books to canvases, my artistic journey involves participating in workshops, en plein air painting, reading art magazines, visiting art galleries, and exhibiting in local, national, and international juried exhibitions and competitions.
